WebMax Intern Diary

November 17th, 2017

My internship at WebMax started in May 2017. A typical day in the life at WebMax for myself included a number of different marketing initiatives. One of my favorite jobs included creating content for the company’s blog and social media platforms. After doing this, I’d then begin social media content for one of our clients. One of my biggest accomplishments was seeing the number of followers and likes the social media platforms I controlled had evolved into over the last 7 months. With the amount of posting, content, and dedication I had put into the social media pages I enjoyed seeing the numbers really increase over time. I also had the responsibilities of maintaining a media list from all across the east coast and assisting the team on press releases and content creating. Aside from everyday tasks, I also had the opportunity to sit with our marketing coordinator and graphic designer, Joe, to learn some of the exciting Photoshop campaigns he had been creating. Another exciting factor throughout my internship had been the opportunity to assist our content marketing coordinator, Gianna in content for our webinar topics. I enjoyed researching and creating content for our client training videos.

While doing my everyday social media scheduling on certain platforms, I also was able to interact with other industry blogs and get a more hands on experience. My writing as a blogger has increased a tremendous amount and I have gained a lot of information in different industries especially the mortgage, home buying and the real estate industries.

One of my favorite parts about WebMax was attending the Residential Home Funding Sales Rally with the Vice President of Operations, Siera. I really enjoy traveling and enjoyed getting to see the type of clients WebMax worked with. It was a great opportunity to get a full understanding of the big companies and how much they help drive the traffic to the WebMax website and learning how this traffic has helped WebMax to succeed.

I Really Enjoyed Being Part Of A Company Like WebMax. Everyone Works Together As A Team Which Is Why They Are Successful.
