The Progress in Lending Association is all about educating mortgage participants regarding real business problems and overcoming those business problems through technology innovation. Then, with their magazine’s help, Tomorrow’s Mortgage Executive, they are able to give technologists and tech-minded executives a voice. Specifically, they were able to give Curt Tegeler, CEO and President of Webmax, a voice.
Recently, over one hundred mortgage executives including Curt Tegeler came together to attend Progress In Lending Association’s 7th Annual Innovations Awards Event. At this awards ceremony, the association named the top innovations from the previous year. With Curt Tegeler being one of the winners, he won a spot on the cover of Tomorrow’s Mortgage Executive.
According to Tegeler, “Innovation can be both sweeping and incremental. Innovation must be persistent and a mindset. It is a necessity to remain relevant in any industry and to enhance the products and services we offer. This involves implementing new strategic ideas, creating dynamic products and improving existing services. In having an innovative approach, you are increasing the probability of success and development in your business”.
All in all, while technology is growing all around us, so is Webmax. Therefore, the winners of this year’s awards event were very well deserving, and we are excited to hear what other mortgage executives have to say.
